Organic Virgin Amla Carrier Oil

Organic Amla Oil, also known as Indian Gooseberry Oil, is cold-pressed extracted from the seed of the Emblica officinalis plant. This virgin material has not gone through a refining process and exhibits a characteristic aroma and flavor.

Astringent and high in the following antioxidants: vitamin C, flavonoids, and polyphenols. By strengthening and conditioning at the follicle level, these help to stimulate healthy hair growth and prevent hair loss, premature grays and dandruff. The emollient nature of this carrier oil soothes dry, flaky skin.

Suggested Uses

• Can be used in place of conditioner - massage into scalp after shampooing, leave for 15 minutes, then rinse out. Can also be used as an overnight deep conditioning treatment. 
• When taken internally the plant (Indian Gooseberry) inhibits the enzyme (5-alpha-reductase) that contributes to male pattern baldness.
